300 vineyards and wineries have donated almost a quarter of a million dollars worth of exclusive wine and other prizes to the Australian Wine Trade Flood Relief Raffle.
The fundraiser aims to raise $1million for flood victims in Queensland and Victoria. It was launched by Brisbane based wine writer and author (and all round nice guy) Tyson Stelzer with support of www.visitVineyards.com. The project has the support of Granite Belt Wine & Tourism members Ambar Hill, Bungawarra Wines, Harrington Glen, Hidden Creek, Lucas Estate, Sirromet Wines and Symphony Hill. Their goodwill in addition to the 30% off through the region's Fab Feb campaign
40,000 $30 tickets are now available at www.winefloodrelief.com.au and the raffle will be drawn on 11 March.
