Elevated Culture with Dobell Prize artist Tom Spence

Experience elevated culture in the Granite Belt. Dobell Prize winning artist Tom Spence is showing his exhibition Recent Drawings of the Inner and Outer Landscapes in Stanthorpe.

The exhibition, showing at Stanthorpe’s Regional Art Gallery, represents recent works expressing the inner and outer landscapes of Tom's life.

Tom, a Granite Belt resident, has dedicated his life to drawing. And what a success it has been – his plethora of awards include The Blake Prize for Religious Art 1997, Faber Castell Prize for Drawing 1986, Waverly Woollahra Art Prize 1991 and 1998, the Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award 2006,  and The Chancellor's Award, Macquarie University 1984.

His works have also been acquired by the World Bank New York and the NSW Art Gallery.

Recent Drawings of the Inner and Outer Landscapes is open until the 10 July 2011.
