A decandent dego

Feeling hungry? We are after reading Vineyard Cafe and Tobin Wines' degustation menu.

This Saturday (25 June), indulge in seven courses of foodie heaven. An assiette of Wild Granite Belt Venison mignon, confit haunch and pudding served with spiced cabbage, beetroot and bitter chocolate, matched with a Tobin 2009 Luelle Plum Cabernet is just one of the delights on offer from Vineyard Cafe's head chef. Or perhaps 'Ducks Teeth' Tobin liqueur Muscat cannoli, chestnut cream, caramelised apples and brittle will get your mouth watering.

Set in an old country church, the Vineyard Cafe blends culinary tradition with the intelligent use of local fresh produce, with an increasing emphasis on organic sources. And Tobin Wines is no gourmet slouch, recently noted by Brisbane's Sunday Mail as a Must Do.
