A little bit of India, a Singing Lake and a Strange Bird

What do you get when you mix a little bit of India, a Singing Lake and a Strange Bird. It may sound like an unusual combination, but the result is a mouth-watering sensation.

The Singing Lake Cafe, at renowned Robert Channon Wines, presents an Indian Feast this weekend, Saturday 11 June. From savoury Butter Chicken to the creaminess of Paneer Kofte it will be a taste-bud delight. Finish it off with Anjeer Burfi made with local Amiens figs and a glass of a Strange Bird wine; may we suggest the 2009 Pinot Gris.

Chef Leisa Gillham has also released her Brass Monkey menu with some wonderful winter treats including Beef in Cabernet Pot Pie (can't get enough Cabernet, enjoy the pie with a gold medal winning 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon), Samlaa Kako (a Cambodian chicken curry), or a Middle Eastern Open Lamb Burger made from local Mallow Organic Lamb.
